Syrian airstrikes hit towns in Arsal mountainous region

A Syrian chopper carried out on Wednesday six air raids on the regions of al-Ajram and Kherbet younin in the mountainous regions of the Arsal, injuring five people who were taken to the nearby hospitals.

Later in the day, Syrian warplanes launched two raids agaianst the towns of al-Rahwe and al-Maslaha in the mountainous region of Arsal.

In this context, military sources denied via LBCI that reported stating that rockets landed near a Lebanese Armed Forces checkpoint.

Elsewhere, two rockets launched from the Syrian side, fell in the towns of al-Nabi Shit and Janta in the Bekaa, without causing casualties.

Arsal shares border with Syria, along Damascus province and part of Homs province.
