REPORT: Saudi Ambassador expresses country’s willingness to fully cooperate in Raouche blast investigations
Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awad Assiri expressed his country’s willingness to fully cooperate with Lebanese authorities in investigations pertaining to the Raouche blast, adding that his country has designated a team to assist in identifying the suicide bombers.

Speaking to LBCI, the Ambassador stressed that the Kingdom will abide by any regulation imposed by Lebanese authorities on Saudi nationals.

The Saudi Embassy in Lebanon vehemently condemned in a statement on Thursday the terrorist attack that rocked on Wednesday night the Raouche neighborhood of Beirut, a few meters away from the Saudi Embassy, resulting in the death of a suicide bomber and wounding 11 people including 3 military personnel.

"The Saudi kingdom has suffered terror acts and would always support combating terrorism," the statement added.

The Embassy also congratulated the Lebanese Cabinet for its efforts in pursuing terrorist cells, wishing a quick recovery to the wounded, the state-run National News Agency reported.
