Abou Zeinab denies Hezbollah member arrest in Thailand
Member of Hezbollah's Political Council Ghaleb Abu Zeinab spoke on Friday asking for officials to give priority to the language of dialogue and the public interest rather than external personal interests.

Following his meeting with the current Metropolitan Bishop of the Greek Orthodox Church for the Archdiocese of Beirut Elias Aoude, Abou Zeinab warned of subjecting Lebanon to the threats sweeping the region.

Commenting on the U.N. chief’s visit to Beirut, the Hezbollah official confirmed that his party does not welcome the visit since Ban’s work is dictated by the U.S. administration, as he said.

In his concluding remarks, Abou Zaynab denied that a Hezbollah member was arrested by the Thai authorities on Friday.

Thai authorities have arrested a Lebanese suspect after being warned of a possible attack in Bangkok, the deputy prime minister said on Friday, adding that police had stepped up security and he was confident the situation would be contained.
