Ghanem to LBCI: Call to reactivate parliamentary committees may lead to unwanted events
MP Robert Ghanem described House Speaker Nabih Berri's call for the reactivation of the joint parliamentary committees as “illegal”, considering that this step may lead to unwanted events.

Via Nharkom Said, Ghanem recalled item 27 of the rules of procedure, stipulating that the rapporteur convenes the committee when the president cannot carry out his functions as commissioned by the House Speaker. Ghanem pointed out that so long as the president is there, no one, rapporteur or not, can call on the committee to convene.
