Unsuccessful candidates challenged on Wednesday the results of the parliamentary elections that was held on May 6.

The number of candidates reached 17 at the end of the deadline set to submit challenges before the Constitutional Council.

They are as follows:

In Beirut second electoral district:

-   Zeina Monzer challenging the win of Faysal al-sayegh and Nouhad
-   Nadim Qosta challenging the win of Edgard Trabolsi
-   Ibrahim al-Halabi challenging the win of the six winning candidates
-   Omar Wakim challenging the win of Nazih Najem
-   List of Salah Salam challenging all the results of Beirut second electoral district
-   Challenge submitted by 12 unsuccessful candidates for all the results of the district

In Beirut first electoral district:

- Joumana Haddad challenging the win of Antoine Pano

In Tripoli, Minieh and Denieh electoral district:

-   Challenge submitted by the list of Ashraf Rifi for all the results of the district
-   Challenge submitted by Tah Naji for the results of the district
-   Kazem el-Kheir challenging the win of Othman Alam al-Din

In Zahle:

-   Nassif al-Tini challenging the win of Cesar Maalouf and Edy Dermarjian
-   Boghos Kordian challenging the win of Edy Dermarjian
-   Miriam Skaff challenging the win of Michel Daher and Georges Okais

In Chouf – Aley:

- Ghada Eid challenging the win of Farid al-Bustani and all the results

In Baalbek – al-Hermel:

- Yehiya Chames, Salim Kallas, Ghaleb Yaghi, Refaat al-Masri and Hussein Soleh challenging the results of all the district

In North Metn:

- Sarkis Sarkis challenging the win of Elias Hankash

In Bcharri:

- William Tawk challenging the win of Joseph Ishak
