Union of Catholic schools in Keserwan, Ftouh, Jbeil rejects Tuesday’s strike

The administrative board of the union of Catholic schools in Keserwan, al-Ftouh and Jbeil denounced the call of the school teachers association to hold a strike on Tuesday November 26, 2013.

However, the board called for the commitment to the agreement reached in Bkerke, where the head of the association vowed to the Patriarch Beshara Rai and to the Catholic Schools Secretary General Father Boutros Azar that he will not seek strike and will ensure a calm and peaceful academic year.

Following an urgent meeting, the administrative board rejected the strike, calling on the schools association to retract its decision.
