Ferzli to LBCI: Bkerke is for everyone

Former MP Elie Ferzli said that the Orthodox Gathering stressed on the importance of the rule of law as well as the implementation of the constitution in Lebanon.

Regarding the electoral law, Ferzli said that the Gathering is looking forward for a just popular representation according to al-Taif agreement.

Ferzli told Nharkom Said on LBCI the Bkerke is the base for Christian representation in Lebanon and not only the Maronites.

He added that the Middle East and the region will face tough security situation after the US withdrawal from Iraq, especially in the Gulf region where the clashes between the Houthis and Salafi groups proves the growing influence of religious institution.
