Rai: The Lebanese cannot live in a cocoon

Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai said on Thursday that all eyes are on Lebanon today amid the reality in an Arab world searching for its identity, democracy, freedoms and human rights. 

 “We cannot truly live our mission as Lebanese while living in a cocoon of our own opinions and points of view whether sectarian or personal. Lebanon is much more important than any of us, its mission is beyond anyone of us, it is our own responsibility”, Rai said during a mass.
