Hezbollah slams Damascus attacks

Hezbollah slammed the attacks which targeted Friday two state security buildings in Damascus, considering this aggression as a crime against humanity.

The statement, issued by Hezbollah, mentioned that "the suicide attacks came a day after the synchronized blasts which targeted Baghdad and other Iraqi cities, insinuating that the powers affected by the United States' major defeat and the withdrawal of its troops from Iraq had begun the process of bloody reprisals against all countries which had once expressed clear-cut stance over the US occupation."

"These explosions which left behind tens of martyrs and wounded, among whom children and women, is of the United States jurisdictions as it [America] is the mother of all terrorists," Hezbollah argued, reminding that the US administration's ultimate goal is to serve the Israeli interest in the region.

Hezbollah eventually offered condolences to the martyrs' families, wishing fast recovery for the wounded.
