Traffic bottlenecks across Lebanon on Christmas day

Various Lebanese roads are clogged with traffic congestion due to Christmas holidays. Markets and roads turned into parking spaces where citizens have been trapped in their cars for hours.

Meanwhile, Jounieh-Tripoli roads are witnessing a severe traffic jam that starts from Nahr el-Kalb tunnel.

LBCI cameras took a tour of markets and shops across Lebanon and as it appeared, food markets witnessed the largest crowds.

A clothing store owner confirmed to LBCI that the flow of purchasers on Christmas day is “good” but relatively worse than previous years.
