Bakeries Union will not commit to wage raise

The Bakeries Union in Lebanon announced on Monday that it does not oppose wage raise and any other attempt to improve the workers’ livelihood, under the condition that it is conducted in an objective manner.   

In a statement, the union added that it cannot commit to any wage, no matter the figures, since the sector is bound by the price of the bread loaf.
