Army forces open fire at vehicle at al-Assi checkpoint, arrest two fugitives
A Lebanese Armed Forces unit opened fire on Monday at a Range Rover, the driver of which refused to stop at the al-Assi army checkpoint.

The army forces arrested the two persons on board, who turned out to be wanted on charges of throwing grenades at a Hermel police station and abusing drugs.

The detainees, identified as M.Ch. and Z.N., were referred to the concerned judiciary.
