Prisoner hangs himself in Zahle prison

A prisoner convicted of drug related crimes hanged himself in Zahle prison, according to NNA correspondent.

In details, the prisoner was found hanged with a blanket of his bed sheet on Tuesday at 8:00 am inside the toilet of his cell.

Investigations are ongoing to uncover the cause of the incident.
