Ghosn to LBCI: political debate over wages issue should end

GLC Head Ghassan Ghosn said on Tuesday that an agreement was signed at President Michel Sleiman’s office, adding that both signatories, the GLC and economic bodies, adhere to the agreement “which secures just wages; transportation and school allowances.”

Ghosn told Nharkom Said TV show that the Shura council took its time examining the wages issue, adding that the political debate over this issue should end soon.

Ghosn voiced confidence that Lebanon’s judiciary will stand by rightful demands and will help the Lebanese get done with the “wages farce”.
