Hariri: Fight for what you believe in and want in life

Former PM Saad Hariri reassured Lebanese citizens that what is happening in Lebanon is smoke, “and it will all be gone soon”. He added that people and leaders come and go, but Lebanon will always remain “the land of the Cedars”.       

Hariri said, via his Twitter account, that he is capable of implementing a respectable regime in Lebanon with the help of the people. “The fact is that u have to fight for what you want in life and believe in”, he said.      

On Syria, Hariri said called on all parties to wait and see what will happen today regarding the Arab monitors’ report. “My opinion on this issue is clear: Syrian president Bashar Assad’s regime must fall, I don't want any return route with them; enough is enough.”       

Hariri said that eventually, Hezbollah will accept to renew the protocol of cooperation with the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL).        

In response to accusations of fabricating his own assassination rumors to get a reputation boost, he said “the site that sent the bbm shut down & it is close to Syrian regime & now Syrian TV accuse me of bomb in Damascus”.
