Hamas: Palestinians in Lebanon are in a difficult situation
The Islamic resistance movement Hamas said that the Palestinians in Lebanon are in a very difficult situation and there are no official signs showing that the case of Palestinians’ rights and requests is being seriously resolved.

During a press conference in Safir Hotel in Beirut, the movement’s representative in Lebanon Ali Barakeh called on the Lebanese government to resolve the Palestinian refugees’ problems in their political, humanitarian, social, security and legal aspects. He also called on the government to refrain from considering the Palestinian issue as simply a security issue, stressing that Hamas is keen on protecting civil peace in Lebanon and on the security and stability of the refugee camps.

Barakeh said that Hamas took the first steps on the path to establish a unified Palestinian establishment in Lebanon that would undertake a dialogue with the Lebanese government and control the situation in the refugee camps in coordination with the official Lebanese authorities.
