Abboud says no winner, no loser in wage hike issue

Tourism Minsiter Fadi Abboud told Voice of Lebanon on Friday that “there is no winner or loser in the wage issue.”

“What happened is that the GLC-economic bodies’ agreement was legalized,” he elaborated.

Abboud voiced opposition to the issuance of transportation and education allowances in separate decrees.

In his concluding remarks, the tourism minister hoped that Labor Minister Charbel Nahhas will “continue his journey which serves the national interest.”
