Khaddam: Assad’s strategic weapons at unknown place

Syrian Vice President Abdel Halim Khaddam who is currently taking refuge in France revealed that the Syrian President Bashar Assad is hiding all his weapons in the Alawi areas in Syria.

Khaddam in an interview with “Le Figaro” newspaper said that Assad is trying to implement a plan to divide Syria on sectarian basis.

“Assad and members of his family are distributing light and automatic weapons in Alawi villages and cities”, Khaddam told Le Figaro reporter.

A former Syrian Army official revealed that the Syrian regime transferred all its missile arsenal and strategic weapons to unknown places, adding that Assad is planning to send fighter aircraft to the Latakia military airport.

On the other hand “Teshrin” Syrian newspaper accused Arab states of preventing all means to solve the current crisis in Syria, adding that some states are involved in the killings and are operating according to American and Western agendas.
