Geagea: SNC statements open avenue for repairing Lebanese-Syrian ties

Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea said on Thursday that recent statements by Syrian National Council open an avenue for repairing Lebanese-Syrian ties.

During a press conference, Geagea added that the Arida incident is a political message addressed to those concerned, urging the cabinet to take prompt actions regarding the Syrian assaults.

“The policy adopted by Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour has nothing to do with the distancing policy. On the contrary, it is an interference that is beneficial to the Syrian regime”, Geagea said.
