Berri praises disassociation policy, but not in dealing with Israel

Speaker Nabih Berri praised on Thursday the policy of dissociating Lebanon from the Syrian crisis considering that such a policy serves the interests of Lebanon and the Lebanese, adding however that this policy should not be implemented when dealing with Israel.

During his meeting with the committee in charge of organizing the first national conference on municipalities, Berri stressed that no real development will be reached if municipalities do not work towards this end, adding that administrative decentralization and civil work are required.

Berri underscored the need to abide by the law when treating the issue of telecommunications data.
