Gemayel: Hariri was brought back with the Arab revolutions

The Head of the Kataeb party Amin Gemayel said that “in the past years we have commemorated the absence of former PM Rafik Hariri, while this time around, we are commemorating his return because he was brought back with the prevalence of Arab revolutions. He was brought back with the indictment and he will come once again with the final verdict and when justice will be served”.

During the March 14 commemoration of the 7th anniversary of Rafic Hariri’s assassination in Biel, Gemayel said that no power can stop the course of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon. “Indictment will be issued, masks will fall and justice will be served”, Gemayel added.

“We are in possession of no weapons and we have no mercenary to send anywhere. This isn’t Lebanon’s role and we cannot be the victims of the harms that we have accused others of doing onto us. We have long suffered from interference in our affairs, violation of our borders, smuggling weapons and pitting one Lebanese party against the other even against its own state”, Gemayel said.

Gemayel called for the implementation of the national dialogue clauses and international resolutions and the activation of constitutional and administrative institutions so we would be able to solve the people’s daily problems.

“Is it possible to support the Arab people in their struggle to break the shackles of their won regime, while keeping our people under the control of weapons?”, Gemayel wondered.
