Sleiman: Lebanese should draw lesson from regional developments

President Michel Sleiman voiced hope on Tuesday that the Lebanese would draw a lesson from developments surrounding the country and boost democratic performance.

The President held talks on Tuesday with the Minister of Environment, Nazem Khoury, over means of boosting the role and capabilities of the environment ministry.

Nicolas Nahhas, the Minister of Trade and Economy, also visited the president today in the company of Patriarch Ignatius IV Hazim of Antioch and the Entire East. Those in attendance engaged in a number of issues at the national level.

MP Mosbah Ahdab also visited Baabda Palace to brief the president over the "Civil Balance Gathering" goals and accomplishments, widening the scope of balanced rhetoric.
