KAFA holds rally against domestic violence
Women’s Rights Organization KAFA (Enough Violence and Exploitation) held on Saturday a rally to condemn the domestic violence in Lebanon.

The protesters raised slogans demanding the swift prosecution of abusers.

Two weeks ago, the state-run National News Agency reported that a Lebanese man shot his wife dead in front of their children at their home in Dohat Aramoun, south of Beirut.

The agency identified the man as Ali Z. who killed his wife Sara as their children witnessed the dispute.

Lebanon has witnessed numerous domestic violence crimes, with several cases involving husbands accused of killing their wives.
