During the first mass led by the bishop of Jbeil diocese Michel Aoun on Sunday, Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai thanked Lebanese President Michel Sleiman for preserving stability in Lebanon.     

Bishop Aoun presided over the mass of his ordination as bishop of Jbeil diocese, to succeed Patriarch Rai, at St John-Marc Cathedral in Jbeil in the presence of the president.
