March 14: Government components are ruled by foreigners
March 14 Forces general secretariat issued Wednesday a statement pointing fingers of accusation at the Lebanese government which was formed as per foreign and regional criteria that serve in no way Lebanon's interest.

The March 14 held its regular meeting to tackle general juncture, reiterating in its statement that the government led by Hezbollah and Syria is trying to appear productive and responsible, particularly after the wages knot and the resignation of outgoing Labor Minister Charbel Nahhas.

"The situation, however, is getting worse as problems are escalating and citizens are sensing the government's failure and its drowning in the darkness of Ghastly deals," the statement said, as the general secretariat confirmed that corruption files, on top of which the red diesel dossier, will no longer be allowed, neither will they [March 14 camp] accept the misleading of the public opinion.

"In this regard, the Secretariat condemned the government's attempts to tie Lebanon to foreign axes as suggested by the visit of the Iranian Defense Minister and the statements which came along.

The Secretariat keen on the slogan "Lebanon First", deemed these statement as an insult to all Lebanese, calling on the Defense Minister for necessary clarifications," the statement added.

Pertaining to the history book issue which has flared up large controversy, the March 14 forces objected to the decision making mechanism, reminding that Lebanese of all factions have struggled for the country's independence and sovereignty.

"Resistance is not limited to certain factions and confessions.

History belongs to all of us," conferees declared. "March 14 forces highlight their unyielding support to the afflicted Syrian people, especially in the city of Homs, which is witnessing genocide and crimes against humanity by the forces of the Assad regime," also as per the statement which called on both Arab and international communities to raise to the level of this humanitarian, moral and political responsibility in order to put an end, once and for all, for this spiraling historical crime.

The Secretariat finally praised the stance of the Arab Group within the United Nations, which called yesterday for ending at once the siege imposed on Homs so as to provide aid for citizens.
