During his speech, Nasrallah also addressed the waste management crisis which he described as “proof of a catastrophic failure.”
“Is there a transparent management that is willing to collect waste with the least cost?” Nasrallah asked, adding “I don't think so.”
Uncollected waste has been piling up in Lebanon’s streets since last week when the country’s largest landfill that lies in the town of Naameh, south of Beirut, was shut down.
This as, Hezbollah chief urged his rivals to engage in dialogue with his allies in the Free Patriotic Movement in order to resolve the country's political crisis.
“The country will head towards political vacuum,” Nasrallah warned, noting that the Future Movement should hold talks with the FPM to “listen to its demands.”
“We don't want the cabinet to collapse,” he said, adding that warnings over the potential resignation of Premier Tammam Salam would lead to further vacuum.
Lebanon’s presidential post has been vacant since former president Michel Sleiman's six-year term ended in May last year.
