Future bloc: No discrimination in overspending
The Future movement bloc stressed on Tuesday that all Lebanese governments since 2006 until today had to resort to extra-budgetary spending. I

n a statement issued following its weekly meeting, the bloc said that the expenditures were carried out appropriately in line with the same mechanisms, standards and regulations as enshrined by the public accounting ordinance.

“The insistence of some to separate between the overspending carried out by the current cabinet and that of former ones is an unacceptable discrimination”, the statement said, “This decimation has political and spiteful purposes that only causes more division between different parties”.

The bloc maintained that transparency is the foundation on which the Future movement and bloc and March 14 forces based their actions, calling on officials to take prompt actions against Telecommunications Minister Nicolas Sahnawi for the many violations that he has committed.

The bloc also highlighted the importance of catering to the needs of displaced Syrians.
