Who is the Ain el-Mraisseh stripper?

A middle-aged man's striptease created significant traffic jams along the Ain el-Mraisseh seafront road on Wednesday, reported Lebanese daily An-Nahar via their website.

The man was reportedly baring his buttocks to passing vehicles as he repeatedly pulled down his shorts.

Locals of Ain el-Mraisseh are no stranger to this man's antics. Known as "Moon", he has become a notorious fixture in the neighborhood where, in various degrees of dress, he is found dancing, singing or mocking people on the street.

Moon is, naturally, also well known to local authorities. Hobeish police often attempt to apprehend Moon for his indecent acts but are frustrated by the escape routes he has created for himself. One Hamra resident familiar with Moon described how he had knocked holes through brick walls along the seafront road to evade police.
