REPORT: Activist self immolates outside Military Court
Civil society activist Mohammad Haraz set himself ablaze on Friday outside the Military court headquarters, and was transported to Jeitawi Hospital where he is currently receiving treatment after suffering severe burns.

Another activist, identified as Youssef al-Jerdi, also suffered minor burns while attempting to put out the flames engulfing Haraz.

The incident comes as a protest against a decision issued by Military Investigative Judge Riad Abou Ghaida to release three activists while keeping two others, Waref Sleiman and Pierre Hachach, under custody.
