An explosion occurred at a banana fermentation site in Bab al-Tebbaneh in the northern city of Tripoli, killing one person and injuring seven others, the state-run National News Agency reported.
Ambulances rushed to the scene and transported to the dead and injured to nearby hospitals across the city.
