Roumieh inmates’ protest ends as parliament passes sentence reduction
The protest movement inmates staged in Roumieh prison’s bloc B on Wednesday came to an end after the draft law reducing the prison term to 9 months was passed by the Parliament. The inmates had held captive 17 security members and negotiations have led to their release.
