In this regard, Salam stressed that he clings to the principle of separation of powers, which is stipulated in the Lebanese constitution.
For his part, Telecommunication Minister Botrous Harb said that “releasing Samaha is a heinous scandal that renews the calls to annul the jurisdictions of the military court in ordinary crimes.”
In turn, former Prime Minister Najib Mikati condemned Samaha’s release.
