Consultative Meeting urges parliamentary blocs to elect a president
The consultative Meeting stressed Friday that the paralysis within the state institutions is having bad repercussions on the Lebanese constitution and democracy.

After meeting with former President Michel Sleiman at his residence, the Consultative Meeting called upon the deputies to partake in the Parliamentary session set to elect a president and scheduled to be held on February 8, stressing the need to reactivate the Cabinet’s work.

It also urged the International Community to launch a program that allows the refugees to return to their homeland.
