Football fans wait outside stadium, shut down Kola road
Over 600 football fans gathered at 6 p.m. on Sunday outside the Sports City Stadium where they are banned from attending matches of their favorite Lebanese teams. They crossed the road leading to Kola and stopped there for around 30 minutes as spectators were banned from entering the stadium to watch the game between “Al Ansar” and “Nejmeh”.        

Security forces intervened and reopened the road, but protestors did not leave, waiting for the end of the game.
