Head of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc MP Mohammad Raad said Sunday that some parties tried in vain to disassociate themselves from the repercussions of the neighboring conflicts on the Lebanese scene.
“How can they consider disassociating themselves while we have in Lebanon more than 1.5 million Syrian refugees who form a time bomb, not to mention the refugee camps into which terrorist groups have been infiltrating and recruiting the refugees to serve the interests of their destructive projects in Syria,” he said.
During a political meeting with the mayors and official figures from the West Bekaa region, Raad noted that the forces conspiring against the region and those who had betted on a plot to bring down the region and isolate the resistance forces, are now doomed with disappointment and failure despite the huge amounts of funds they paid.
He also pointed out that internal stability results from the efforts of the resistance forces that refuse to incite chaos and tension in Lebanon, stressing that those who seek to create sectarian strife are somehow related to the Zionist-Saudi-American project, which aims at destabilizing the region.
