Hezbollah’s Nasrallah hopes Hariri anniversary can unite Lebanese people
Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivered on Tuesday a televised speech marking Hezbollah’s “Martyr Leaders Day.”

Nasrallah started his speech by extending his condolences to the family of late former Prime Minister Rafic Hariri.

“It is our ethical duty to extend condolences to the family of Hariri, regardless of the political rivalry with some of his heirs, and we hope a day will come when this anniversary will become an occasion that unites all Lebanese people,” Nasrallah noted.

On another note, Nasrallah stressed that the rhetoric of the Israeli media has become “identical to the rhetoric of some Arab media, especially in the Gulf and Saudi Arabia.”

He also noted that Israel considers the presence of al-Qaida in Syria is “a lesser evil” than the presence of Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime, adding that the Assad’s regime damages Israel’s interests in the region.

Also, Nasrallah said that the militants' successive defeats in Syria have pushed Saudi Arabia and Turkey to consider sending ground troops under the excuse of fighting the Islamic State.
