Head of Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea appreciated Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi’s resignation, hoping the government would take his resignation into consideration.
“Someone had to take a firm stance especially after the tensions between Saudi Arabia and Lebanon, along with Former Minister Michel Samaha’s trial”, he stated.
In the same context, Geagea noted that the government should have asked Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil for an explanation, supposing he wronged but it did not, therefore the government must take full responsibility.
