“The Cabinet should have addressed the ministers of Hezbollah directly and urge them not to tamper with the fate of the Lebanese people,” he said.
In a press conference, Geagea noted that the government should call upon Hezbollah to withdraw from all the military operations it had launched in the Arab states, or else the crisis would escalate.
On another note, LF chief emphasized that “it’s better for the government to resign than to cover a situation that is leading Lebanon to confrontations with the entire Arab world.
“The Cabinet called for respecting the policy of disassociation, but how can that be possible when a member of the government is taking part in the fighting in Syria?” he asked.
