Hezbollah’s Nasrallah delivers a televised speech
Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivered on Tuesday a televised speech whereby he noted that “since the declaration of the suspension of the Saudi arms deal, we have entered a new phase of political and media conflicts in Lebanon.

"The grants were suspended upon the death of King Abdullah and not because of our stance," he added.

Two weeks ago, Saudi Arabia halted a $3 billion program for military supplies to Lebanon to protest against Hezbollah’s policies and recent diplomatic positions by the Lebanese foreign ministry.

On another note, Nasrallah noted that the youth protests that came as a reaction to a satire TV sketch have contributed to increasing concerns and anxiety among the Lebanese people.

“There is no another May 7-like campaign and Hezbollah is keen on Lebanon’s stability, security and domestic peace,” Nasrallah added.

“This video is a sign of weakness,” he said.

On Saturday, a group of Hezbollah supporters took to the streets, blocking roads around Beirut and to protest a short comedy TV program impersonating the party leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

As for the dialogue with the Future Movement, Nasrallah said that there is a national an interest in bilateral dialogue with the Future Movement as well as in the national dialogue.

Turning to the regional files, Nasrallah accused Saudi Arabia of directing car bomb attacks in Lebanon.
