Assad to al-Dawoud: Syria is fine

Syrian President Bashar Assad met with Secretary General of the Lebanese Arab Struggle Movement Faisal al-Dawoud on Wednesday to discuss the latest Arab, regional and international developments.

Al-Dawoud conveyed Assad’s reassurance to the Syrian situation that is heading towards stability, adding that Assad stressed the importance of implementing reforms and answering the demands of the Syrians.

According to al-Dawoud, Assad confirmed that he is keen on national unity and the need to ensure the political, security and economic well-being of the Lebanese.
