First hearing of so-called Abra detainees was scheduled to begin at Beiruts' Military Court on Tuesday, but was adjourned to the the 22nd of March.
The suspects were detained following clashes that erupted in 2014 in Abra, south Lebanon, between the followers of a radical Sunni cleric Sheikh Ahmad al-Assir and the Lebanese army.
The attacks resulted in the death of 18 Lebanese Armed Forces soldiers and around 40 of Assir’s fighters.
