Oil sector suspends April 2-4 strike
The oil sector announced on Friday that the strike that was scheduled for April 2-4 has been suspended following a positive meeting with Energy Minister Gebran Bassil. Sources reported that the decision was taken to pave the way for more negotiations for with minister Bassil.

Although Energy Minister Gebran Bassil signed the weekly gasoline price update on Thursday, the delay pleased neither gas station owners nor oil importing companies that consider that the delay is not justified.
