Like many countries in Asia, the Philippines marked Earth Hour on Saturday with a 60-minute switch off and promoted the advantages of renewable energy through cycling.
Hundreds of cyclists and volunteers gathered at the Quezon Monument in downtown Manila to advocate alternative sources of energy in addition to the 60-minute switch-off event to highlight Climate Change action.
