Mansour: Disassociation policy protects Syrian-Lebanese diplomacy
Foreign Affairs Minister Adnan Mansour told Voice of Lebanon radio station on Sunday that the disassociation policy protects diplomatic relations between Syria and Lebanon, stressing that the government is united around this stance.

Lebanese administration attempted to distance itself from events in Syria over the past year, due to geo-political reasons. However, this has led to dispute among local factions, with one camp demanding taking a stance with the Syrian people, while the other camp siding with the regime.

"Aiding Syria can only happen by supporting the reform process," said Mansour, "and dialogue is the only way out of this crisis."
