Prime Minister Tammam Salam arrived on Wednesday in Istanbul at the head of a delegation to attend the Organization of Islamic Cooperation summit.
The Lebanese delegation, which includes Foreign Affairs Minister Gebran Bassil, Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil, Agriculture Minister Akram Chehayyeb, and Environment Minister Mohammad Mashnouq, is expected to oppose attempts to label Hezbollah a terrorist group and recommendations to help Azerbaijan put the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh under its control.
Salam is also expected to deliver a speech revolving around the latest developments and will hold meetings with leaders taking part in the summit.
