New rent laws aim to keep tenants and landlords happy
The Administration and Justice Parliamentary Committee headed by MP Robert Ghanem discussed on Wednesday the issue of rents. Ghanem said that the draft law on rents will not be in favor of either tenants or landlords, adding that the committee has put the final touches on the funds plan.

According to this plan, low-income households will enjoy allowances and landlords will retain the right to recover their property for familial reasons or for demolition provided that they compensate tenants appropriately.
