Al-Baddawi residents block international road, denounce Karam’s release

Al-Baddawi residents blocked the international road on Friday to protest the delay in trying the Islamist detainees while “verdicts against spies are issued swiftly and laws are being passed to speed up their release as is the case of agent Fayez Karam.”

Many residents raised banners denouncing “the double standards in the performance of judicial and political authorities.”

One of the raised banners read “congratulations for the release of agent Fayez Karam and we demand the execution of Islamist detainees without trial."
