Harb denounces attempt to drive a wedge between him and LF

MP Boutros Harb’s media office denied on Friday reports circulated by several media outlets on Thursday claiming that Harb is planning to hold a banquet at his residence on April 10 as a preliminary step toward revealing a new political coalition separate from the March 14 camp.

According to the reports, Harb is thereby paving the way for running for upcoming legislative elections and putting an end to his allies in the district, especially in the Batroun region that is currently witnessing a remarkable growing of the Lebanese Forces’ influence.

The office considered that the alleged reports aim at driving a wedge between Harb and his allies that he is not willing to give up, especially the Lebanese Forces.
