Hariri urges Beirut residents to vote for the “Beirutis List"

Future Movement leader MP Saad Hariri Saturday called on Beirut residents to vote for the Beirutis’ List on the eve of the municipal elections.

“I urge all citizens to head to the ballot boxes on Sunday and elect the Beirutis List, which preserves equal sharing and coexistence between Muslims and Christians,” Hariri said at his home in central Beirut.

“Beirut has been repeatedly targeted and there have been efforts to confiscate its decision because it affects the entire country,” Hariri added.

Lebanese citizens registered in Beirut will vote for the municipal polls on May 8.

Then, Hariri met with the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon Sigrid Kaag and discussed with her the latest local and regional developments.
