Future bloc voices regrets over failure to elect a new president

Future bloc said on Tuesday that the victory of the “Beirutis List” supported by the Future Movement “forms a great national step towards emphasizing on the adherence to the Taef accord.”

“The Future Movement’s protection of Christian-Muslim equality in Beirut proved that we are the only political movement that surpasses sects and regions at the parliamentary and organizational levels,” the bloc said following its weekly meeting.

The bloc voiced regrets over the failure to elect a new president for the country, blaming Hezbollah and the Free Patriotic Movement of thwarting the polls.
